"We will discover the original vocation of these new Christianities, which now have the opportunity to assert themselves with the energies and values of their multi-secular civilizations, and to give to the old tree of the Church those branches, flowers, and new fruits that we want to discover."

That's right: Universal mission is not a mission to dominate one civilization over another, but rather a mission to serve others and bear witness to our faith in the Risen Christ. The happiness that comes from sharing Christ.
