Our homeland is in heaven

Where are we going? Where are we heading? What is worth living for? Without these questions, we merely confine life to the present; we think we must make the most of it, and we end up living day to day, without purpose or direction. But our homeland is in heaven (cf. Phil 3:20); let us not forget the greatness and beauty of our destination! (Pope Francis, Regina Caeli, May 7, 2023)
