 "Working in synergy

The Pope encouraged the Foundation's commitment.

On the other hand, warned Leo XIV, "this work deserves to be well organized in order to favor their good insertion in the host dioceses".

Missionary drive

The Holy Father also praised the meeting held last May at the Abbey of Maredsous in Belgium, which " enabled us to reflect on the proper preparation of this missionary cooperation between the South and the North, and above all on the decision to create an international center for missiology and North-South pastoral work". He added: "I hope that this institution will see the light of day, and above all that it will achieve the objectives set out in your resolutions". For, he insisted, "together we want to rediscover the missionary impetus". In particular, a "mission that courageously and lovingly proposes the Gospel of Jesus". " You remind us all of the beauty of evangelization", he concluded.
